Dr. Kate Sicchio is a choreographer and media artist whose work uses choreography as both an artistic practice and a way of thinking through emerging technologies. Her practice spans live coding, wearable systems, and choreorobotics, creating works where dancers and intelligent machines co‑generate choreography in real time. Her work has been presented internationally across performance, gallery, and festival contexts. Recent work includes at the Doha Design Biennale in Qatar, TheaterLab in New York City, and Theatre Deli in Sheffield, UK. Her research has been featured in publications such as The New York Times and Dance Magazine. She is currently Associate Professor of Dance and Media Technology at Virginia Commonwealth University.
