Kate Sicchio is a multiplicity. She is a choreographer, media artist, and performer. Her work includes dance performances, installations, web and video projects and has been shown in Philadelphia, New York City, Canada, Germany and the UK at venues such as Banff New Media Institute and WAX Brooklyn.

She started combining dance and media at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, USA. There she was awarded the Promising Artist Award and graduated with a BFA in Modern Dance and Multimedia. In 2005 she completed her MA in Digital Performance at University Centre, Doncaster, UK where she continued to explore dance, video, and interactivity within a live performance setting. She is currently a PhD candidate at University of East London and is researching the relationship of realtime video systems and the content of choreography.

Kate Sicchio has had extensive teaching experience as programme leader for BA (Hons) Dance Practice at University Centre Doncaster and BA (Hons) Dance: Urban Practice at University of East London. She has taught contemporary dance, choreography, and interactive performance technology to both undergraduate and masters level students. Since November 2010 she has been lecturing at University of Lincoln.
